Welcome to the official website of the Laclede County Collector's Office, led by County Collector Toni Morris. County Treasurer We are dedicated to providing the citizens of Laclede County with the trustworthy, efficient service they deserve while adhering to the statutes of the State of Missouri.

The County Collector is an elected official responsible for collecting and distributing all current and delinquent Real Estate and Personal Property taxes. These funds support the county and its local political subdivisions, including Schools, Road Districts and Fire Protection Districts. Our office also collects merchant license fees, as well as railroad and utility taxes.

To make managing your taxes more convenient, our office provides escrow processing (handling tax payments directly from mortgage companies on behalf of property owners), and a prepay installment program for participating taxpayers.

This website is designed to provide you with convenient online payment options and 24/7 access to public information—saving you the time and expense of a trip to the courthouse.

Important Note on Property Assessments

Please note that property assessments are managed entirely by the County Assessor. The Collector's Office must collect the taxes based strictly on the Assessor's records, and we cannot make changes to your tax bill.

If you need to request corrections or have questions regarding assessments or property descriptions, please contact the Assessor’s Office directly at (417) 532-7163.

Thank you for visiting the Laclede County Collector's website!
